Caller ID said Apple, Inc so I answered it knowing damn well it was a scam. Answered it, press 1 to speak to someone and 2 to hang up, with no option to removed from list. Pushed 1 and someone started talking before I could get a word in, saying my Apple iCloud had been hacked. I thought about telling them that I had no Apple devices or that there was no Apple account associated with my HOME number, which is true. I said well, when did this happen and they said last week and we need to help you reset your password. . I said oh really, because I was in my account less than 24 hours ago and everything is just fine, and I don’t put anything in the cloud that I wouldn’t share with my parents or grandparents (I’m 65 and they have all passed already). They called once before once before I got up at 8:52am, again at 9:13 after I woke and then had the balls to call me again while I’m writing this, at 9:36. So I answered and hit 1 right away and when they answered and started talking, I said shut up, I want you to know that I just got through reporting your number as a scammer, and if you don’t stop, I will reports you as a phone stalker. They got real quiet and hung up. If they call back again, I’ll come back and let you know.
