I received a voice mail today, February 13th, 2020. The voice mail began with a man's voice saying that I needed to contact them as soon as possible to avoid legal action proceedings. No company name, no mention of what the issue was about and the man leaving the message did not identify himself. In fact, he made it sound as if the voice mail recording captured only the part where he said, "Again.....please call 325-399-0641 as soon as you possibly can....." Well, I'm not calling them back. If it had been a true legal matter, there would have been something in the mail long before now. Companies put things in writing. Scammers try to do things over the phone. I am current on all bills, have no outstanding debts and owe nothing to anyone. To my knowledge there is nothing "out there" at any point in time which would require legal action on any level,. If you get a phone call like this, don't respond.
