A text message from an icloud address of klysmolnik.araldo6 [[]Callersearch wouldn't allow the address typed normally] fraudulently claims to be a member of the "Apple Support Team". The message declares:
"Apple Account Security Alert
We have detected unusual activity on your Apple ID associated with a transaction at "Apple Store " for $143.95, made via Apple Pay (per-authorization). Additionally, we observed suspicious sign-in attempts and an Apple Pay activation request.
To protect your account, these actions have been placed on hold. Please note: your photos, data, payment information, and linked cards could be at risk.
If you did not initiate this activity, we strongly recommend contacting Apple Support immediately to verify your account and prevent unauthorized charges.

Of course, I went to Apple directly rather than call the included number or follow the link provided in the text and Apple has no record of such transactions or "suspicious" activities. Thus, at Apple's request, I have submitted this fraudulent text message to their dedicated reportphishing email address at apple dot com [[]more Callersearch prohibition of addresses] for them to investigate. I suggest anyone else who receives such a text do the same so as to put this creep in jail where he belongs.
